Rehearsal

Have you heard there will be no sin in Heaven? Or a comment like a Holy God cannot be in the presence of sin?

I tell you practice sinlessness now. How can there be no sin in Heaven when you won’t honor the will of the Father on Earth? Keep the law and confess and abstain from your sins now. Bind to yourself the desire to follow Jesus while it is still today.

That being said, I don’t think there will be no sin in Heaven. God would either have no laws in Heaven or have to intervene at everyone’s first thought of doing something wrong. He won’t take away your freewill. If you make it to Heaven your salvation is secure, I just find it hard to believe everyone will live perfectly making no mistakes for all eternity. Neither do I believe God’s forgiveness should come to an end. His mercy endureth forever.

Today is a rehearsal for Heaven. What you bind on Earth is bound in Heaven. Practice sinlessness now and it will come naturally in the future.

You have the right to remain silent.

I once told my cousin about 1 Corinthians 14:34-35. She said to me – no one is going to take my voice. I imagine most ladies feel this way about these verses. But ladies consider this: ignorant and weak men have allowed you to speak in Church against the word of God.

These men have no right to say that you can speak in Church. They have overstepped their bounds.

We’ve all heard the expression silence is golden. And to be honest some men on judgement day would be better off having exercised their right to remain silent.

Ladies you may be put off by this New Testament law of Christ, but hear it and observe it and in the end Christ will honor your female spirit for honoring his word in subjection.

1 Timothy 2:12-13 KJV
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. [13] For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

Believe

Many preachers and teachers of the gospel claim God’s love is unconditional.

Why would you want a God who claims to love you, but doesn’t care what you do?

These teachers simply don’t understand love. Love says do better. It says stop doing things that harm both me and you. The gospel says that if you don’t keep his Commandments there will be consequences. His Commandments are established to make our lives better and as guidelines for a stronger, healthier relationship with God.

When you hear a preacher say, Christianity isn’t about reading the Bible, it isn’t about keeping rules and regulations, it isn’t even about attending Church, it’s about relationship. Run. Find a new congregation.

Relationship is reading the Holy Bible, it is keeping his Commandments, it’s about worship in his house and at home. Love is made of truth and honor. There is no such thing as unconditional love.

If you’re new to Christianity read John 3:16. It’s the first condition. Believe.
