KISS is an acronym used by certain scientists and researchers as a basic philosophy or rule, Keep It Simple Stupid. It means the simplest explanation is most often the correct one.

So what is the simple crux or core of Christianity. Believe and Behave. Believe in Jesus as Christ and Do Not Continue in Sin. To do this you must know Jesus, who he is and what he did. And you must know his law. Keep the two Great Commandments mentioned by Christ in the New Testament, love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, spirit, and strength. Love your neighbor as yourself. A good way to do this is to keep the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20, reiterated in Deuteronomy 5. There are other laws which you can find in the Old and New Testament. If they are good they probably should be kept. Discernment between the Old and New Testament tells us we no longer need to follow the dietary laws and that thanks to Jesus there is no longer any need for animal sacrifice for sins.
