Occupational Hazard

One of the most recent attacks on the King James Version Holy Bible is about Jesus’ occupation.

They say the KJV is incorrect. Jesus wasn’t a carpenter he was an architect. We are told correctly Jesus was a carpenter in Mark 6:3. As was Joseph, his adoptive father, Matthew 13:55.

They want to argue the word architect wasn’t in use during the time of the KJV translation. If you ask me, this argument is right up there with the argument that there weren’t camels around in the Old Testament, although the Bible clearly says that there were. Camels are mentioned several times in Genesis.

It is detrimental to the truth, to his word. You aren’t building up Jesus. You are tearing him down. There is no benefit in trying to give him a better, more respectful occupation. He is God. He doesn’t need you to build him up, especially while attacking the Holy Ghost inspired KJV.

Make sure the foundation. Mine is the KJV.
