Are you female and want to please the Lord? Or are you like the young lady on MiracleWord Ministries who says she would like to prove herself to the Lord?

It’s simple. Do what the Lord requests.

As a woman be conservative. Dress conservatively, wear makeup conservatively or not at all, and be conservative in your jewelry choices. 1 Timothy 2:9-10. This one is Church tradition and also a bit of common sense.

At Church – do not speak, for it is a shame for women to speak in Church. 1 Corinthians 14:34-35. This means no talking and in my opinion probably no singing. There are several other times and places where you can sing hymns to your heart’s content. It may not feel like it, but this one is a protection from God for the ladies. Let the men say stupid things and teach bad doctrine. You can’t be damned to Hell for saying nothing, in fact it would please the Lord that you show him such respect.

When you pray cover your head. Would you like your prayers answered? Then it makes sense to pray as God requests. 1 Corinthians 11:5-6. When you pray use a shawl or a bandana to cover your head before the Lord. Remember this doesn’t mean you have to cover your head all the time, just when you pray. I suspect the Amish and Mennonites have forgotten this.

People in general claim they want to please the Lord, but they don’t want to read the Bible (to find out how) and they don’t want to do what Jesus asks of them when they do find out.
