Transubstantiation is the Catholic belief that the bread and wine of the Eucharist literally become Christ’s flesh and blood.
I was interested in becoming a Catholic, but could not convince myself to get past this lie. If it actually becomes the blood and flesh of Christ why would my tastebuds tell me it’s still bread and fruit of the vine?
Catholic’s also say that Jesus is present in the Eucharist. What does the Bible say? Matthew 18:20 KJV For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Christ should be present for the entire service, not just the Eucharist.
Great post 😁
